Handling grief is always difficult, but, during the holidays, it can be especially trying. As gray January plunges us deeper into winter, its dark days can make it even harder to deal with the loss of a loved one. Fortunately, Dr. Donna Jarvis, M.Div, PhD, Chaplain for New Century Hospice, has designed a grief support group called Moment by Moment.
The Alzheimer’s Association hosts a support group, led by an Alzheimer's Association-trained leader for caregivers on the fourth Mondays at England Run Branch. The support group is a safe place to learn, receive helpful tips, connect with resources, and meet others impacted by Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. The group meets from 10:00-11:30.
