Whooo’s Awake in the Night?

Creatures of the night use amazing adaptations to thrive in the dark. Learn about these unique characteristics, and how our actions during the day affect those who stay up all night. Live animals will be featured. Presented by The Wildlife Center of Virginia. Sign-up begins May 1.

Animal Adaptations
Spot the hidden animal, play “What’s My Adaptation?,” and create your own animal adapted to life around a pond.

Estimation Station!
Compare the containers and estimate the amounts inside!

Force and Motion:
Using paper airplanes and Brio trains (crashing into Dominoes) for a fun activity examining how force and motion work together.

Magnetic Mania!
Test and compare the different materials in the bottles and determine which items are magnetic!

Seek and find and test your knowledge of the planets.
