The small things we see and do every day are often overlooked, yet when viewed as parts of a greater whole, become charged with potent significance in the adventure of life. My work reflects those small things when viewed as an individual image or form, yet, when combined with a body greater than a single piece—therein lies the true adventure we all seek to own.

The Clothesline Project is a visual display that bears witness to violence targeted against women. The Clothesline t-shirts are individually designed and crafted to publicly express the personal experience of a survivor. The shirts share her words, her story, and her emotions. The Clothesline provides a safe forum for women to speak about the abuse and to educate the public about the extent, prevalence, and impact of violence against women.

The Teen Art Show is held annually at Headquarters Library. The two artists who receive first place (grades 9-10 and grades 11-12) are given their own show in the Atrium the following December.
